Josh Fielden (Man #1)
Josh Fielden is proud to be a part of this Kitchen Table. Originally from Tennessee, Josh has made his home in Brooklyn for the past five years. Being a part of the Fringe has been a dream for a long time, and he is proud to create with such a creative team. Along with earning his stripes through New York theatre, he has recently been working on short film and web series that are coming soon. He is blessed to have the theatre community as a part of his life, as it teaches him openness and gratitude for every moment. David Gautschy (Man #2)
David Gautschy is thrilled to be involved with The Kitchen Table Plays. He recently played Touchstone in As You Like It at Shakespeare on the Sound in Rowayton, CT. Favorite roles include Prospero (The Tempest), Clive/Cathy (Cloud 9), Algernon (The Importance of Being Earnest), Puck (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), and Feste (Twelfth Night). David has performed at venues including Denver Center Theater Company, New York Theatre Workshop, and Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. He holds an MFA from the National Theater Conservatory and is also a theatre director, voiceover artist, and acting coach.
Melody Gray (Woman #2)
Melody Gray is thrilled to be part of the 2013 New York International Fringe Festival and The Kitchen Table Plays. Melody recently graduated with her MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama, where she played Hecuba in The Trojan Women. She is from Houston, TX, where she was very active in community theater and had the opportunity to work in amazing productions: as Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (The Country Playhouse), Sylvia Fowler in The Women (Theatre Southwest), and Vera in The Oldest Profession (Island ETC, Galveston).
Stephanie Moise (Woman #1)
Stephanie Moise is very excited to be making her Fringe debut with The Kitchen Table Plays! Recent works include: The Maiden's Prayer (Atwater Village Theater, Los Angeles), Behind The Teeth (Blank Theater), and Canvassing! The Web Series. Stephanie is a proud native New Yorker and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She would like to thank her cast/crew for their immeasurable talent and her family/friends for their unwavering support.
Creative Team
Erin Breznitsky (Playwright/Sound Designer)
Erin Breznitsky's plays include Sverginata, a re-imagining of the life of Baroque painter Artemisia Gentileschi (produced at Sarah Lawrence College, December 2011); R+J, a fantastical continuation of Romeo and Juliet (produced by SLC Gradworks, 2012); and Hands, a mystical ghost story about loss and human connection. She is the recipient of the Stanley & Evelyn Lipkin Prize for Playwriting and a full scholarship to the La MaMa International Playwrights Retreat in Spoleto, Italy, where she studied with Erik Ehn. As a sound designer, her work has been seen at Manhattan Repertory Company, the San Francisco Fringe Festival, Under St. Marks, Midtown International Theatre Festival, Dixon Place, and Mabou Mines Resident Artist Program. Tamara Winters (Director)
Tamara Winters is a theater artist and arts advocate with a passion for new work, experimental collaboration, and works that explore our humanity in unexpected ways. Her eclectic aesthetic was first shaped at Ohio University's BFA Acting program and later refined through the interdisciplinary MFA program at Sarah Lawrence College. Her work has been seen at IATI Theater's Cimientos development series, HERE Arts Center, Cherry Lane, Dixon Place, The New Ohio, Joria Productions, the Midtown International Theater Festival, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Truant Arts, and Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati. She is also passionate about arts advocacy, and spends her days raising funds for arts organizations and projects, including New York Madness. www.tamarawinters.com
G. Warren Stiles (Set Designer) is an award-winning scenic designer and a graduate of the Ohio University MFA program. Recent New York productions include Island and The Life and Death of King John (New York Shakespeare Exchange); True Art (The Director’s Company); Waiting for Lefty (Portmanteau Theatre); and Money (HERE). He has assisted on the Broadway productions of Pippin; Promises, Promises; A Behanding in Spokane; Hair; and Big Fish and has also assisted on the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. In Chicago he worked with the House Theatre of Chicago, Chicago Children's Theatre, and The Adventure Stage. He is a co-founder of Burnside Design Studio with Daniel Winters.
Sarah Riffle (Costume Designer) is making her FringeNYC debut with The Kitchen Table Plays, but her work has been seen around the New York City area and regionally with such companies as Vital Theater Co., SCERA Center for the Arts, STAGES St. Louis, and Nosedive Productions. Along with her design work, Sarah also freelances occasionally with Lynne Mackey Studios and produces custom bridal veils in her spare time. At any given time you can find her at Tribeca Performing Arts Center as the Lighting Supervisor.
Daniel Winters (Lighting Designer) is a Drama Desk Award-nominated lighting designer who holds an MFA from Ohio University.
